Biography

Corporal Victor Deep was from Kearney, Nebraska. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Deeb. He graduated Kearney High School and attended Nebraska State Teachers College at Kearney one year before joining the Army. His B-29 and crew would later process through Kearney Air Field about five weeks before he died on March 30th, 1945. He died when his B-29 crashed into the sea off the coast of the Marianas islands after successfully completing a bombing run over Tokyo.
