Biography

Herbert Blakeslee was from Eddyville, Nebraska. He attended the Nebraska State Teachers College at Kearney from 1942 to 1943 and completed 27 credit hours. He was killed when a transport plane crashed near Brunning Air Field near the Nebraska/South Dakota border. He was killed along with 28 other men, 24 of whom were pilots in the Army.
