Air Applicator Information Series

 

The Air Applicator Information Series, produced by the Air Applicator Institute, educated aerial spray pilots on different facets of aerial spraying. Experts in entomology, plant pathology, and chemistry consulted on the booklets. The series was one tool in providing additional training to those involved in agricultural aviation.

State colleges of agriculture, the United States Department of Agriculture, city and county libraries, chemical and agricultural magazines, chemical companies and state departments of aeronautics are a few of the sources. This volume presents these and other channels of pertinent information for the air-applicator who wishes to be a student of air-application.

    Every pilot and crew chief needs a broad general knowledge, of chemicals, pests and crops. Such persons are urged, therefore, to obtain all of the books in this series. Applicators will do a better job of applying if their knowledge of the entire field of air application is both broad and accurate.
