Abstract

School District No. 117 was formed on December 6, 1901. It consisted of all of Sections 3, Township 15, Range 7, the West half of Section 2, Township 15, Range 7 and the North half of the Southeast quarter of Section 4, Township 15, Range 7. Jesse M. Galloway was the County Superintendent.

A report filed by Henry Peterson, director in 1901 showed 53 children on the school census.
