Biography
Lieutenant Gladson was born in Ord but grew up in Kearney. He graduated from Kearney High School in 1938 and attended NSTC at Kearney for one year. He then initial served in the Nebraska National Guard in a tank destroyer unit before he transferred to the Army Air Corps. He became a pilot in 1944. He was participating in bombing missions over Japan when he was killed on a mission over Nagasaki.
