Abstract
The Warren Commission Report is an important historical document for the study of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. However, its size and complexity make it difficult to discern broad narrative patterns through traditional close-reading techniques alone. This project uses natural language processing and network analysis to map the map the relationships between the people named throughout the report. Drawing on scholarship that treats networks as a way to study narrative structure, it asks how patterns of prominence, clustering, and connection reveal the report’s organization as a constructed narrative.

This is a student presentation but we also wrote a 6-page supplement that I have as PDF that I'd like to include if possible.
