Abstract/Sinopsis

Javier Fox is from Sesquilé, Colombia. He spent most of his childhood in an orphanage. Fox learned survival skills during this time and had many experiences that marked his life. Fox was adopted by an American family and moved to the United States. Fox went to school and learned English. He had some difficulties adjusting to the US because the environment was totally different than the one in which he grew up. Fox realized that his new family cared about him, which inspired him to do something good with the opportunity that was given to him. He became an art educator and wants to impact his students’ lives. Fox currently lives in Kearney, Nebraska and is an art teacher at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He continues to grow as an artist.

Javier Fox proviene de Sesquilé, Colombia. Pasó casi toda su niñez en in orfanato. Fox aprendió habilidades de sobrevivencia durante ese tiempo y tuvo muchas experiencias que marcaron su vida. Su vida cambió cuando Fox fue adoptado por una familia americana y cuando se mudó a los Estados Unidos. Fox fue a la escuela, aprendió inglés y enfrentó algunas dificultades al adaptarse en EE.
