Abstract
Oh, Goose is a project from my Sociology of Sexuality class at UNK with Dr.Loughrin. The task was to make a book for children or teenagers about a topic of gender and/or sexuality. I used this opportunity to come out to my class as transgender, as well as give a brief explanation on how I was raised and how being transgender and being anything besides heterosexual is okay- in the form of a goose. My father gave me the nickname Goose growing up, and I thought that it was fitting for a children's book.
