Abstract
I would like to do a presentation on my personal transitioning journey and the steps I've taken in order to transition up to where I'm at and other options that I've researched. I'd like to make a slideshow of the process and explain how my family, friends, coworkers and other supports have been through this process. I want to explain the importance of understanding how big of a deal transitioning is in a world that is more or less accepting of transgender people. I'd bring up my college experience at UNK and what steps were taken to make sure I felt safe on campus.

Presenter Bio
Beck Uhl is a University of Nebraska alumnus that graduated in December 2022 with his Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Mental and Behavioral Health. He plans on attending nursing school to become a mental and behavioral health nurse practitioner. Beck is passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. Fun fact: Beck is a huge fan of spiders, snakes and other creatures that most people don't like. Beck has two pet snakes and hopes to someday get a tarantula and scorpion.
