Biography
Richard Strand was an enlisted soldier in the Army Air Corps. He graduated from A. O. Thomas High School and attended one year of college at NSTC. He later joined the Army Air Force and served on a B-29 in the Pacific. On his 26th mission he was killed after his plane was lost fire bombing Tokyo in May 1945.
